PYCC Showcase & Movie Night

PYCC invites your family to join us as we celebrate our first year of being in Sewickley!

All of PYCC's sports and activities will be setup at stations for your kids to check out. The more stations that they visit, the more chances they have to win some great prizes. Kids can try their hand at basketball, bowling, rugby, flag football, boxing, and our strength and conditioning program.

Come test your speed against other local athletes. All ages are welcome, there will be prizes for top male & female for the high school, middle school, and elementary school levels. Our expert trainers will warm the athletes up and test their 40 yard dash using a laser timing system.

Coach Dave Gray from CDG Sports will be there playing games. Other local youth organizations will be onsite as well presenting information about how they help our community. Hang around after the event to watch a movie on the football field with us! Movie title to be announced.

Come hungry! The Emporio Meatball truck will be onsite serving up dinner. We will also have lots of snacks and drinks available.

We ask that everyone register ahead of time on our website so that we know how many families to expect. Tickets are free (though donations appreciated to help cover the cost of this event!) Walk-ups won't be turned away, but if you know you'll be attending please register for headcount purposes.

How will the night work?

Check-in will open by 5:45pm at the gate to the field, with events starting at 6:00 sharp. We suggest arriving before 6:00 so that kids have the most time possible to experience all our stations. Each ticketed kid will receive a wristband at check-in. For every station that they spend time at and experience, they will receive a stamp on their wristband. A horn will sound approximately every 10 minutes, which will be the cue to get your stamp and move onto the next station. Station rotation will go on until approximately 7:30. If a kid completes all stations early, they are welcome to go back and repeat their favorites, but they can only earn one stamp per station.

Once a kid experiences all or as many stations as they like, they'll visit the prize table. Here they will trade in their wristband for a number of tickets based on the number of stamps they earned. These tickets will be used for a bucket raffle where the kids can put tickets into the buckets in front of prizes they would like to win. We will have lots of gift cards and other great gifts to choose from.

After all the prize drawings are complete, we will start our movie. Be sure to bring blankets or chairs, as we will be on the football field. We'll have popcorn and lots of other snacks available for sale all night long.
